Funeral for father and son who died when boat capsized

The funeral has taken place for a dad and his three-year-old son who died in a boating accident in Warwickshire, reports the Coventry Telegraph.

Julian Mynott, 42, and his son Freddie died when the boat they were in capsized on the River Avon near their home in Barford village near Warwick on May 12.

Julian’s other children - Florence, aged six, and Archie, aged seven – were also in the boat when it overturned and were rescued from the water by a local resident and a police officer before being rushed to hospital. The funeral service was held at St Peter’s Church in Barford.
